Transnational Memory Conference
April 13th-15th, 2018, Berlin
Following the tutorial „Remembrance 2.0“ at Berlin Humboldt University, we now organise a conference on future Holocaust memory in a transnational perspective. We will discuss this approach in three workshops focusing on memory in migration societies, the effect of the New Right’s growing influence, and Holocaust remembrance in post-socialist states.
The conference is open to international participants who are interested in Holocaust remembrance. It is organised by students, but also those not currently studying history or related subjects are welcome to apply. If you work in the field of memory culture or would like to contribute to inspiring discussions in another way, we are very happy to meet you in Berlin.
